Support the Ann Arbor Film Festival This Holiday Season!

December 10, 2024

As the year comes to a close, there’s no better time to support the Ann Arbor Film Festival. Your contribution—whether a one-time donation or a monthly pledge—helps sustain the unique artistic experience that only AAFF can offer.

For over six decades, the AAFF has been a gathering place for filmmakers and audiences to explore the cutting edge of experimental cinema. Your donation helps fund the programming, outreach, and community-building efforts that make the festival a vital cultural institution. Whether it's $25, $50, $150, $250, or any amount, your gift makes a real difference in bringing bold, innovative films to the screen.

In 2025, the 63rd Ann Arbor Film Festival will take place in person from March 25-30, with two awards programs available online March 30-April 13. Your support ensures we can continue showcasing the groundbreaking work of filmmakers from around the world and creating an inclusive, inspiring environment for audiences.

A Message from Filmmaker Peter Sparling

Peter Sparling, a long-time AAFF supporter, shares:

“What a jewel! Every facet of this organization shines so brightly. I admire AAFF for continuing its tradition of promoting and screening an extraordinary range of experimental work. I've been fortunate to have had my films included, and to have moved from dancing on the Michigan Theater stage (in a past life) to appearing on the screen! Thank you, AAFF.”

Peter’s words capture the festival's profound impact on filmmakers and its essential role in the creative community.
