AAFF's Community Event Walk Right In Returns to Burns Park on September 22!
August 30, 2023
The AAFF membership committee created this free annual outdoor community film event as a way to raise awareness of the film festival, build community connections, and encourage AAFF support through membership. This free public event is being held for a second time in Ann Arbor's Burns Park.
Gather between 7 and 8 pm for conversation with other lovers of experimental film, then we'll settle in as the sun goes down for a program of films drawn from the AAFF's archive, a collection of films that has been bending minds since 1963!
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided but bring your own comfy, outdoor, experimental-movie-watching chair! The event is free but we suggest a donation of $8 or more to help support the festival.
Please note, that many of AAFF's membership levels will modestly increase in price starting this Friday September 1, so now is the moment to become an AAFF member (or share an AAFF gift membership)! If you miss the deadline, don't worry! Just attend Walk Right In on September 22, and you will received a discount code that will allow you to sign up at the earlier rate.
We can't wait to have a fun, relaxed time with our AAFF community of members, volunteers, and experimental film lovers and filmmakers. We hope to see you there!
