AAFF Community Event: Walk Right In returns on September 19, 2024
8-21-24
Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and favorite people, and head over to Burns Park! The Ann Arbor Film Festival is excited to bring back Walk Right In on Thursday, September 19, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This free, open-to-everyone neighborhood event features a 40-minute screening of short films, live entertainment, delicious food, and great company!
While the event is free, we encourage an $8 donation to support the upcoming 63rd Ann Arbor Film Festival, scheduled for March 25-30, 2025.
This year, we're adding a special touch: enjoy a live jazz trio from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, supporting the A2 Jazz Fest (October 3-6, 2024). Plus, savor free food and beverages, and enter our charity sweepstakes if you're a new or current subscriber to our eNewsletter. We can’t wait to see you there!

And the collaboration continues as The AAFF will partner with A2 Jazz Fest and Venue for Jazz Brunch with an exciting twist! Local favorite Ingrid Racine, along with Josef Deas and Max Bowen will be providing the soundtrack to a series of short avant-garde silent films. This special event will feature Frank Uhle - projectionist, cultural historian, and author of Cinema Ann Arbor - who will guide us through a discussion on these films. For this special event, Chef Thad will be preparing his famous brunch buffet menu items! This is going to be a highlight event this fall and tickets are expected to sell out. Don't miss out on this delightful Sunday afternoon Jazz Brunch experience so be sure to get your tickets today!
