Shannon Lee

Shannon Lee received a BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013 with an emphasis in film, video, and animation. Shannon creates paintings and drawings along with 16mm films, 2-D animations, and experimental videos, dealing with abstract fantasy worlds.  Her work has been exhibited at the Gene Siskel Film Center, Hyde Park Art Center, SAIC, Prak-sis Contemporary Art Association, Chicago Artist Month 2012, and Sullivan Galleries in Chicago, and in Detroit at the Kunsthalle Museum of Light and Multimedia Art, Detroit Contemporary Art Institute, Cranbrook Academy of Art, and Whitdel Arts.  Shannon resides in Detroit, MI.
