“From Gulf to Gulf to Gulf”

UMMA Helmut Stern Auditorium

Comprising over four years of footage, From Gulf to Gulf to Gulf is the result of a collaboration between the Indian art collective CAMP and a group of sailors from the Kutch district in western India. A modern adventure on the high seas, the film captures workaday life and lazy hours as the sailors ferry everything from electronics to livestock from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden to the Somali coast and back again. -Nellie Killian
