Meejin Hong

Meejin Hong is a recent graduate of California Institute of the Arts’ experimental animation program. With a fine arts background, she creates films using messy materials and lots of layers. Her animations have screened in Japan, Colombia, and the US. She was born in Spartanburg, SC and currently lives amongst wild parrots and a sixty-year-old desert tortoise under a century old oak tree in Pasadena, CA.
