Lindsay McIntyre

Lindsay McIntyre is a film-artist from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Specializing in analogue film work that emphasizes documentary, experimental and handmade techniques, her award-winning films circle themes of portraiture, place, form and personal histories. She generally prefers to do things the hard way and her current work involves handmade 16mm emulsion, celluloid manipulation and false film histories. Holding an MFA (Film Production, Concordia, Montreal) and a BFA (Drawing, University of Alberta), she is a member of the Double Negative Collective in Montréal.
