Betzy Bromberg

Betzy Bromberg is currently Director of the Program in Film and Video at California Institute of the Arts. Originally from NY, she moved to Los Angeles in 1978 where she studied with Chick Strand and Jules Engel. Ms. Bromberg worked as a camerawoman and supervisor in the Hollywood special effects industry for over twenty years.  An active filmmaker since 1976, Ms. Bromberg’s films have shown extensively in museums, cultural venues and festivals within the U.S. and abroad. Most recently her work was presented at the Guggenheim Bilbao (Spain) and Ponrepo, the National Film Archive of the Czech Republic.
