Albert Sackl

Films in Competition, Short Film

Using time-lapse technique Sackl explores the energetic interaction between man-made construction and camera rhythm, cant, and shudder in the textural particulars of a remote mountainous landscape in Iceland. One image every three minutes condenses three months into 23 minutes with a technical precision sharply defined amid continuously changing skies and fidgeting ground.
